I've got a Proliant 6500 I've inherited from a colleague who has since moved away. The server worked when I got it, it was then changed from a rack mount to a stand alone and since then I've had misc interlock error.

Problem is, I can't see where the problem is. All the cables are accounted for, all the system boards have been removed and replaced and there's still an interlock error.

If I ask my friend he says something about "micro-switches" along the chassis that might have been flipped when it was changed and they need to be flipped back.

Any suggestions?
Thanks for the attachment, but I knew that already.

I know it's an interlock error dealing with a misc. cable but all cables are accounted for and connected.

The person that owned it before is talking about "micro-switches" and how during the conversion betweem rack-mount and floor-mount some of these might have been disturbed.

Thank you.
