Adding a Hotpluuggable hard disk

I have 2X 18.4 GB Hard disks ( hot pluggable)in my Netserver LC 2000. I have 3 partitions stripped C, D and E.I added one more 18.4 GB Ultrawide II hotpluggable hard disk. I want to expand the E partition so that it also covers the total of the new disk. Can I do this dynamically without deleting existing partition?

Not with Windows.

It is possible in HP UNIX if you have the online JFS product.

In Windows, copy all the files somewhere (I use a network drive on another server), reallocate the drive space, and copy all the files back.

I am assuing you do not run RAID, and the operating system? This is dependant

Yes you can,under certain conditions, if you have a Raid controller you can migrate from your actual Raid one (I suppose 2disk of 18 gb= raid 1 18gb) to a raid five with three disk (three 18gb raid five=36 gb total space) then you will found a free space of 18gb.
if you have two disk connected to scsi bus, connecting this disk will give you also 18 gb free space.
at this point you can ad this space to your last partition, only system partition cannot be expanded.
