      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have installed hp smart array b120i on hp microserver gen8 with 2 hd 1 TB in raid 1 and Server 2016 essential and all function property.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I want install third hd 500 GB (not in raid) for backup embedded in server 2016 essential but I dont see as is possible; I phisical installed third hd but the system not see the hd, at boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestion ? Thanks in Advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The B120i doesn't support mixed mode. All the devices need ot be either setup as RAID or as AHCI SATA. You will need to create a second array for the additional drive&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank You for speedy replay,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is possible create a new array whith only 1 device ? And more plus important, the creation a new array whit only 1 drive is not dangerous for the array existent now in production ? Of course during the installation of a new array I stop all the activity for all the users.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
