The HPE SN1610Q 32Gb FC HBA is backward compatible with 16Gb and 8Gb storage networks. Please refer to the 'Overview' section of the QuickSpecs of the HPE SN1600 Series 32Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter for more informaton.
