I am getting two POST error messages, 1, "ESIA Configuration NVRam Bad", and 2, "Information about your computer's configuration has been corrupted". Any ideas? &lt;BR /&gt;

The first message here is the significant one.  Sounds like the EISA config has gotten scrambled (it happens sometimes on old systems) perhaps by the NVRAM battery going dead on you.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you have the EISA support tools (Don't know whether you can d/load them or not) it's normally a pretty simple matter of booting up off the configuration diskette and letting the tools detect your config and save your settings.&lt;BR /&gt;

I downloaded an updated ECU and BIOS to a floppy and tried to boot from it, no luck. The only way it will boot is if the # 3 switch is off (down)and it doesn't seem to recogize the the A drive or C drive. I tried to clear CMOS, and I guess I really screwed things up. How would I go about making a boot disk? &lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Hopefully you have an EISA partiion on the machine.  If so, hit F12 during POST this should come up.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If not, I just looked into the ECU diskette, you *should* be able to boot off that (the executable is actually EISA_CF.HDS&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Then, just choose "Configure Hardware"&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
In one case (but not on an HP box) I needed to disconnect the hard drives.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
In another case, you can power off, set SWITCH 3 on the config dip switch to ON then power up.  This will clear the config&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Take a look at&lt;BR /&gt;
