"will the board take it" is the question. The only way you'll know is by plugging it in - which could toast your motherboard. Not worth the risk. The E60 includes one 256 watt power supply.
The power supply will support all the internal devices installed. Take a look at the E60 datasheet here, it will answer questions such as power specs, total drives you can install, etc. Best stuff starts on page # 6.

http://h200001.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpn11182/lpn11182.pdf

Hi Stephen, I got my hands on a Netserver E60 last year. I've got the box running with two PIII 700Mhz. I get an error on boot because the microcode is not supported in the BIOS, but I'm running XP SP1 and I think it looks after the Microcode update thru windows anyway. I've also installed an ASUS ATI 9200 card, and a creative Soundblaster Live card. Stability is rock solid, I use it as a games/multi media PC connected to my TV. I've got 512mb and I have to say I love this box. I replaced the tape drive with a SCSI DVD, and the IDE CD with a CD/RW unit.

Just to add, Stephen, the DIP switch settings show support for processors up to 700MHZ and at boot it does show the correct processor speed as does the Intel Processor speed utility. Also the USB ports DO work, I've got my Webcam connected, on my box the USB ports had a strip of silver tape covering them, but after I removed this and plugged in any USB device, I've had no problems.
