    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;No special risks - you need to load the SCSI diskettes specific for that e60, same as for a single processor e60.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Windows 2000 server automatically recognizes the 2 processors, so there's nothing to do differently from the single processor OS load.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note that you may not be able to run with that same HD installation if you chnge back to one processor or vice versa. ( actually I wouldnt ming hearing for sure waht happens in each case).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Have aquired a second intel P3 550 with 512 onbaord cache. &lt;BR /&gt;What procedures do I follow for installation?&lt;BR /&gt;What risks are there to the functioning and configuration of the server during installation even if I simply just remove the second processor module should it run into problems?&lt;BR /&gt;What precautions are necessary or can I take to reduce risks?</description>

      <description>processors should be exactly the same with same freq and same cache.&lt;BR /&gt;adding the second processor, you have to remove the terminator in the slot. if you want to remove the processor later, you should put back this terminator.&lt;BR /&gt;Normal ESD precaution should be taken when managing electronics parts&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Does anybody know of any settings eg on the bios or in windows2000 server, that must be made in order for the computer to make use of the 2nd processor once installed</description>
