    <description>I'd still like to know the settings, as I still would like to be able to install a couple of processors that don't match HP's Processors exactly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Plus it appears that I can buy a handful of 'other' processors cheaper than I can buy a couple of HP Devices.</description>

      <title>HP Netserver E60 - CPU Upgrade</title>

      <description>I've just received an E60 with a PII 450 and am looking to upgrade the processor/s. I've checked the supported CPU's etc and the jumper settings for the different CPU's.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My question is with regard to the jumper settings, as I have noticed when checking with INTEL that the voltage for the CPU's varies from 2.05 to 1.65 volts depending upon the specific CPU series. Some 600 CPU's for example vary in voltage from 1.65 to 1.7 to 2.05.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What are the actual voltage settings/multipliers etc with the jumper settings on the E60? I want to find out what each of the jumpers actually does, and the relevant settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes Malvin I've checked through nearly everything listed on the website/doco's etc, the only reference is to the actual jumper settings, there is no mention of what the actual jumper settings do. There is no breakdown of voltage/multiplier etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I went through as much of the documentation as possible before posting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks anyway.</description>

      <description>Kim,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here's an idea.  Don't buy standard processors - buy HP parts and it will save you the headache of cheching all the specs. You can still save money by going to a broker or reseller of refurbish parts.  They carry stock for older servers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try Triad (in CA or OR)</description>
