Just a thought. If you get this after powering the server off, it may be a flat battery!
If you get this after a soft reboot (no power cycle), make sure you have saved the config before exiting the ECU.

Dave.

I get a Bad CMOS Checksum and a error code : 0202.

I have the latest BIOS and ran the ECU, but couldn't find any explanation for that error code.

I have no OS but everything boots fine, the error isn't a hindrance.

I know that some suggested erasing the CMOS, is there anything else I can do besides that?
What is the meaning of that specific error code?

error 0202 is
Configuration corrupted. A)Check the configuration. B)Examine the system board and replace it if defective. C) Check that the software is not corrupting CMOS memory.

This is straight out of the service manual. I would clear cmos first. SW1 3 saves or erases the NVRAM and CMOS. Default is on. Turning it off and powering on and off will erase the current system configuration.

I am having the same problem getting the Error code(s) 0202 but I don't have any of the software that came with the system originally except for teh little floppy that was taped inside the case. I am trying to get two NetServers (5/100 and 5/75) to use as a class project and I could really use some help in locating the configuration utility CD. and possibly any manuals that these have
