Received an email from hpe.com but the website has strange chinese characters on the page

Hello,

I received an email from enterprise@connect.hpe.com 4 hours ago (08:12hrs PDT) that stated the following:

. When clicking on the link, it took me to a page with a VERY long URL beginning with:

https://connect.hpe.com/profile-update-us-en?elq_mid=

But the page appears to me very much like some sort of phishing expedition. I have attached a screenshot for you to view.

Please let me know what the status of this is and if it was indeed a legitimate email and website that I landed on. I've had an account here since 2011.

Hi, I received the same mail, to me it seems a legitimate (marketing related) mail from connect.hpe.com. Probably you had some issue on your Web Browser.

Hello Bradley,

The email you received was sent by the HPE Marketing team.

Most probably this issue is caused by the ad-blocker plugin from your browser. You can either temporarily pause the ad-blocker and reload the page, or, if you interact often with HPE pages, you may want to add in the white list the connect.hpe.com pages.
