    <description>Hi Tizania,&lt;BR /&gt;check the scsi interface type of both drive and controler,&lt;BR /&gt;there is "normal" (single ended) scsi, differential scsi and LVD scsi.&lt;BR /&gt;offcourse you cannot use them mixed.&lt;BR /&gt;is it just TZ89 or TZ89??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's advisable to put the TZ89 on a dedicated bus, not a bus where other drives are present.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;
Is the TZ89 (35/70 GB DLT external tape drive) compatible with Alpha 800? When I connect such a tape drive to the Alpha 800, it doesn't show up when I do a &amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;show devices in SRM.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The problem was with a faulty terminator.&amp;nbsp; Changed that and it worked fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
