ERE installation problem

I'm trying to install Ezmeral Runtime Enterprise with v5.6.4 on SUSE 15 (using of hpe-cp-sles-release-5.6.4-3110.bin).

I fixed all failures from pre-check script , but I failed with an error below.

Re-run of pre-check script (hpe-cp-prechecks-sles-5.6.4.bin) doesn't return any errors, the error is absent even in web search, so I've no idea how to fix it.

Please could you help with this?

Thanks for the query.

Ive observed similar problem while running the precheck scripts while insatlling 5.6.4 in one of our labs.

Waiting for BlueData controller services to be up. ERROR: BlueData controller services failed to come up after retries. ERROR: Failed executing 04_controller.sh

The above error indicates that the server is unable to connect to bluedata repo's to start up.

You could check if you have some network level firewalls set which are blocking the access to bluedata repo to download or start similar services.

Failed to exec: systemctl enable cgconfig ERROR: Failed executing 00_misc.sh

The above issue indicates that the script is not able to enable cgconfig which is required for ERE installation.

The similar thread on how to enable or start cgroups for redhat is below you could check or search for cgroups enabling and try the prechecks after enabling cgroups in the server.

Also note you would get the complete trace of prechecks under with more information at

/tmp/bd_prechecks.<id>.log in the server where the prechecks script has been run you could check it for more understanding of the exact error.
