    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, colleagues,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have three switches in my network:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SW1:&lt;/STRONG&gt; HP 1820-48G Switch (J9981A)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SW2:&lt;/STRONG&gt; HP 1820-48G Switch (J9981A)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SW3:&lt;/STRONG&gt; HPE OfficeConnect 1820-24G Switch (J9980A)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;All devices are in the same VLAN (192.168.0.0/24), with the gateway and DNS server set to 192.168.0.1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently, the switches are connected as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SW1 Trunk (Port 50, 51)&lt;/STRONG&gt; ↔ &lt;STRONG&gt;SW2 Trunk (Port 50, 51)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SW2 Trunk (Port 46, 48)&lt;/STRONG&gt; ↔ &lt;STRONG&gt;SW3 Trunk (Port 24, 25)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Is this connection scheme optimal for the network?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What additional configurations should I apply to:&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Prevent loops.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Ensure high performance.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Simplify network management.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here’s what I have configured so far:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;RSTP (802.1w)&lt;/STRONG&gt; is enabled on all switches.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;BPDU Protection&lt;/STRONG&gt; is enabled on ports.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m not using multiple VLANs or multicast traffic at this time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your assistance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
