//////////////// TRANSLATED ////////////////////////

Hello everyone, I recently bought the latest hp envy thirteen with the 10th technology. i completely erased the drive and installed home windows from a clean factory image. I was immediately greeted by a non-working touchpad, no sound, and no wifi.

luckily my good modify replacement android and usb tethering got me through:

apart from the fact that the driver download device is absolute rubbish and unstable, i have no more ideas how to get the right drivers.

Drivers for touchpad, audio and card reader are missing.

after going to the hp website, automatically detecting and downloading my model, i double click to run it. this starts the unpack-setup which installs the actual setup to "c:/some thing/". now when i try to run the extracted setup, nothing happens. I've tried downloading again, rebooting, running as administrator, switching to the administrator account, starting from run and cmd, the drivers just won't install.

why am i stuck with no working touchpad, audio and five unidentifiable devices in hp device manager? this pc wasn't just released yesterday.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Hi,

Please post your queries regarding HP products on HP Community.
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

Thank You!
I work with HPE but opinions expressed here are mine.
Recent Support Video Releases

HP and their drivers
