Hello.

I have to following NAS Synology storage added to our 3 Node VM Essentials cluster as a NFS Pool:

I want to use Images volume for the Virtual Image Library,

When i go there, is see the following message:

Is it possible to use one of the synology volumes?

I don.t see the option "Default Virtual Image Store" which i see when trying to create a filestore:

So, is it not allowed to use a datastore for the default Virtual image store?.

And what is the difference between a "NFS Pool" and a "File Share" ?.

Thank you

Hello VBS2,

the difference between the NFS Pool and the Files Shares is that the NFS pool is used by the hosts as datastore to deploym the VMs on it, while the "File Shares" are used by the VME exclusive for actions like uploading images and/or the build in functions like backups.

With regards
