You do not need to create a "host network" but an "OVS Portgroup" (the 2nd option) and use the compute bridge you defined (it's one of the fields to fill in).

So delete the network you created and create a new OVS Porgroup.

Please let us know.

Hi

I'm not able to show the local disk to use as data store.

I installed the hpe-vm.deb in the ubuntu. Installed the VME Manager. Then I created a group, a cluster, add a host, but I don't know how use the intenal disk on the ubuntu for data stores.

I have the virtual appliance running.

Hello

You may create a LVM Filesystesm (by creating a VG ,LV ) using the internal disks and mount in a directory.

From VME Manager UI, Infrastructire > Cluster > Storage > DataStore -> Add -> Select Type: "Directory Pool" and specify the above LVM mount point as "Target Path" > Save.

While provisioning an instance you can use the same data store.

The local disk of your HVM host is added as a "Local Datastore" by default when you create a cluster.

You should be able to see it under "Cluster - Storage". The name is "Local" IIRC.

Can you please verify and if needed, screenshot the "Cluster-Storage" page?

Thanks i think i got it. Now another thing: when i tried to do the migration of VM from esxi to HVM, i tried to select a network as the target resource. However the network i created (under infrstructure > network > add host network) is not showing as the target resource. Seek your kind advise for this, thank you!
