Hello @emiyata,

If I understand correctly, the Instance/VM will be deployed using Morpheus and have the agent installed. However, the Instance/VM will need to communicate back to Morpheus via a proxy.

If the above is correct, there are a few options.

On the cloud you are deploying to, you can edit it and expand the
Provisioning Command
section:

You can choose the proxy that should be used and set
noproxy
settings as well.

You can configure proxies in
Infrastructure > Network > Proxies (tab)

The above proxy setting will be configured on the deployed VM and it should communicate back to Morpheus, as well as other communication, via the proxy.

As with the first option, this option is the same but you can configure it on a specific Network you are deploying to.

Navigate to `Infrastructure > Network > (edit the network) > Advanced Options

One other option is to use the Distributed Worker, which you deploy at the site where the VMs will be deployed.

With this option, you can configure the
Appliance URL
on a Cloud and set it to the Distributed Worker.

When the Instances deploy, they attempt to communicate with the appliance URL, which would be the Distributed Worker. The Distributed Worker can proxy connections back to Morpheus.

The Distributed Worker would send the communication to Morpheus only, instead of each agent connecting.

Note that this is a more advanced setup and if you require help, it may be a good idea to create a Technical Request for assistance or review. You account manager can assist with Technical Requests if needed.

Hope that helps!

Hello Experts,
My client requires to have Proxy between Morpheus appliance and VM network.
Provisioned Instance can only connect to Morpheus appliance through the proxy. They must have agent install on the Instance. Is this possible?

Hi Ollie,
Thank you for you attention.
So our client wants to segregate network between Morpheus and VM Network.
Connection between Morpheus and VM will go through proxy.
They want Agent to be installed on provisioning VM, when we provision VM this can be done through the proxy?

Thank you for your comment.
Do you have any recommendation for this Proxy VM’s sizing?
Client says they will provision 10 instances at the same time.
