      <description>NT uses nslookup also, but it must be run from a dos prompt.  Most of the options are identical also.</description>

      <description>There is one crucial difference... as near as I can tell NT's NSLOOKUP ONLY resolves from DNS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PING will resolve from HOSTS, or WINS  LMHOSTS or DNS or whatever.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Traceroute is available on NT - only the name has changed to tracert .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;By the way there are additional commands on NT2000 - for example pathping .</description>
