I have an HP Kayak XA and was moving the keyboard and track pad combo that I had on an HP pavillon box. For some reason, the Kayak would not recognize the PS/2 mouse. If I put in an HP ps2 mouse, then it works. I tried the keyboard/mouse combo back on the HP pavillon and it still works. I called the keyboard manufacturer and they tried everything. They removed some mouse related programs I had installed. I'm running on WIN 98.

THanks!

Hi Ben,

As you are running Windows 98, I guess that you should post your question in a windows related part of the forum, you'll have a lot more chances to get an answer.
for example:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/CategoryHome/1,1147,184,00.html

Best regards,

Dan
