extra hard drive?

When installing an extra hard drive, is it adviceable to install it as a slave or stand alone? it will be used to put a ghost image of the main hard drive and storage.

If you have available the second IDE channel, install it as master (stand alone) on the secondary channel.

You will get better performance that if you share using it as slave on the same IDE channel.
