topic Terminal Services over iLo Advanced in Operating System - Microsoft

I have an issue with the Terminal Services over iLo functionality failing. Not just on one server. I have no idea what has happened. Remote Console works perfectly and I can see the iLo IP listening on 3389.

I’ve tried everything from firmware, drivers, changing ports, resetting iLo/OS, and troubleshooting with the JVM console but to no avail.

The iLo status says - Terminal Services: Server software not detected

The Java Console logs - IllegalThreadStateException thrown. Destroying TS.

Has anybody ever had similar issues. I'm running a Blade chassis with a mix of G2 and G3 BL20p's.

Thanks
The big things to look at are:

1) make sure you are using the most current and updated version of MSIE6.

2) make sure that you have installed the latest copy of the Sun Jave JRE package.

3) make sure that the iLo's firmware is completely up to date.
