When you're on the page (with IE), try holding down the Control key and click on the refresh icon. This should "force" the page to be reloaded from the host.

Also, is there a proxy server in the mix? The control|refresh should still work, but I've experienced otherwise. In IE6 the proxy server settings are under Tools | Internet Options | Connections | LAN Settings | Proxy Server .

Cheers,
Art

I like to know how I can get I.E. to show any new uploaded information on my web site. I am not sure if the problem started with I.E.7 since I downloaded that one at the time it came out. It does all work fine in Netscape.
I hope I am not out of line asking these kind of questions here.

Does the 'refresh' button, or F5 do the right thing?

I'm not on I.E.7, but under 6.0.
For that version the auto refresh is controlled under:

Tools...
Internet Options...
[Temporary Internet files]
Settings...
o Every Visit
o Every start
o Auto
o Never.

Maybe try a different setting or look in

Tools...
Internet Options...
[Advanced]

fwiw,
Hein van den Heuvel

Hi Hein,
I tried those suggestions, but could not find anything that fix the problem. I am wondering now if I need a different script to make I.E. regognize the new entries?

Joe,

I've had issues with sites using I.E.(6.xx)
I switched to Mozilla and wish I had done so years ago.
I got too comfortable with MS products and now am happy as Mozilla works, runs and performs better. I.E. 7 is so bad and clumsy to use, where as, Mozilla is much easier and have had 'a lot' less page losses, errors etc...
I couldn't get to my banks web site using I.E. nor Amazon which crashed a lot until - key word "until" I switched and now Amazon does not crash anymore on me and had access to my credit union account which was unreachable before.
