    <description>It is not likely that you deleted anything that would cause the cd to NOT work properly anymore, but rather removed/deleted the program HP supplies to "help" users with normal tasks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you tell us the model of the HP hardware you have?  The Operating System? and any other information about the box?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It sounds as if you probably just need a program like Nero or Easy CD Creator or similar to get yourself back up to speed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i just got a new hp, and i was adding and deleting programs i thought i didn't need. Under add/remove windows components, i think i deleted something i needed. After i did that, my cd drive does not detect cds or can burn them. Does anyone know what i need so it will be able to work normally Again?&lt;/P&gt;
