Have you tried this version of the EZ Setup CD?

http://tinyurl.com/dn72xs

Make a great day!

Roger

Hi

I have been trying to install 2008. If I try using the HP EAsy setup CD, it blue screens. If I do a standard install, it installs, then hangs when I make start to make changes.
I have also tried SBS version. This installs the OS, but then the progress bar stopped when working on the next phase.

I tried Windows 2003 x64. INstalled no problem applied all updates, no problems. But I really want 2008
The CD that came with my server is version 1.1. This download is for 1.0a.

I have actually found a way to make it work. I noticed a number of errors in the Windows System log for nvstor.

I only have a single disk at the moment so I am not using any kind of RAID. I have enabled the RAID controller in the BIOS and created a JBOD array with a single disk, and it all seems to be working now. This implies a problem with the disk controller driver.
