Proliant DL580G3 do not support Windows 2008

Hello,
I have two Proliant DL580G3 but I have seen that is not supported with Windows 2008. Curiously, this model is very similar to Proliant DL380G4 that is supported with Windows 2008.
Anybody knows if this server will be supported in the future. I have installed it with SmartStart 8.15 and works perfectly.

AFAIK, G3 will not have win2008 support.
But if you G3 have 64-bit CPU and you installed windows 2008 - you probably don't need oficial support.

For example, many years we run windows 2003 on Proliant 1600 servers without problems, although windows 2003 not supported on Proliant 1600
