Define NIC teaming on Windows 2008 Server Core

Hello,

I am trying to use cqniccmd.exe to define NIC teaming on a Win 2008 Server Core 64bit.
I have saved a predefined settings from a different server with Windows 2008 Server and when I try to imlpement it on my Server Core, I get the following error:
"The configuration task did not complete successfully.
4: Network Configuration Error : Number or type of adapter mismatch."

Anyone have any idea how should I set the network teaming?

Hello Roger,

Thank you. I have seen this document and I didn't find anything usefull in it, beside the order of installation...

I have made some progress though. I managed to run the NCU UI (using the hpteam.cpl file), but I do not see ANY NIC under the HP NICs list (see attached).

I have installed the latest PSP, which includes the latest NIC drivers.
It is a BL490c G6, so I can see 8 Flex NICs via the Networking and Sharing Center.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Been there done that...

Anyway, I moved to Win2008 EE (no Server Core) and got into the same troubles, so I guess it is not related to Server Core.

I'll open a different, updated thread...

Moved to Win2008 EE full version. I'll see how it goes there...
