HP tech support was telling <BR />me that it would work with dl360, which is intel based servers. That's one <BR />misinformed tech support. i figured i asked others before i buy my server. <BR /><BR />my only option is now using DL385G6. this model comes with 6-core AMD <BR />opteron 2400 series processors. does anyone know if this will work with my <BR />dl365G5(which have Amd opteron 2300 serioes quad-core in them)? <BR /><BR />does anyone have this configuration? do you need to turn on compatibility <BR />mode on for live migration? or will it run natively? <BR /><BR />there is also another option to use DL385G5p, it uses quad core AMD Opteron, <BR />but the processors in these series don't exactly match the processor in my <BR />DL365G5. Both are quad core opteron, but they have different model(e.g. <BR />Opteron 2356 VS Opteron 2389). will this work? <BR /><BR />If anyone could shine a light, i'd really appreciate it!
