2008 Foundation to 2008 R2 Foundation

Hi all,

I've got a client who has purchased Windows Server 2008 Foundation (HP).

Is there a way to upgrade the edition to Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation?

I've looked at the upgrade paths, but can't seem to find any download link for the particular upgrade.

Hi P Kini,

I had already been to those links before submitting my question, thanks for showing again.

However, those deal mainly with going from Foundation R2 to Standard R2, and trying out the various versions of R2.

However nothing is available about going from Foundation 2008 to Foundation 2008 R2.

Have you tried a inplace upgrade from 2008 Foundation to 2008 R2 Foundation ?
