Cannot install Drivers

Hi, I am using the following link to install HP network utility but error message says OS not supported. Server is HP DL360 G4 Windows 2008 R2 web addition x64 .

hello, of course it is not working - it is package for win2008 64bit, NOT R2 - much different OS.
It looks your server doesn't support Win2008 R2 - at least in drivers support.
Try drivers for DL360 G5 at: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3288144&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121486&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4064 - it could work.

Yes I can install now. but I have a new problem now, Once net config utility is open I am unable to see NIC in the config manager.

Do you think its because server is not supported?

I am afraid yes...
My sugestion is to use "normal" win2008. Or do you have real reason to run R2 version?

The NIC on DL360 G4 is Embedded NC7782 Dual Port NIC.

I would try the firmware and drivers from here (although R2 is not specifically mentioned):

BTW, the link you provided took me to a teaming NCU download. If you truly want teaming, that may not be possible. Try to get one of the ports working using the link I provided and please let everyone know whether it works or not. Thanks.

Its working now.. Can I ask is this driver for DL360 G4?

Few more things:

Could you also advise for base system driver, what driver do I need exactly?

Also HP managment page is not showing system components, its only showing system staus OK.

any advise here please?

The driver is for any product containing an embedded (LOM - Lan On Motherboard) NC7782.

As to your other questions, believ it or not, I don't know a lot about HP hardware and management tools. I also don't have any more time today to research. I trust that someone else will be able to help with those questions.

Oops now I know, I used to simply press the assign point s button without selecting points from the drop down menu.

I think its time to go to eye specialist and recheck my eye sight :-)

No I am a fan of Mazda and Honda CIVIC only, I can't wait to save some bucks to buy new Mazda 2010 CX7 :-) :-)

One more question,

Since I installed Team NIC and joind both nics in 1 and set 1000/full, its working fine but I am unable to ping this server now from any where else with in the network.

I can RDP to it though.

Do you know why?
