Yeah,

What we did was to convert back to single NIC unicast. Seems to work fine.

Hello,

I have problems with two Blade 460 G6 servers.
The NLB has been configured to multicast. I am using HP teaming. The blades have only two nics.

After adding the mac to the arp-tables on our network the cluster seemed to work fine.

Problems started after few hours. The service running in NLB stopped to respond. It's down few minutes and after that you can connect it again.

What I see at firewall is some incoming traffic to the NLB and none outgoing.

Any ideas what is wrong with my config?

>>Any ideas what is wrong with my config?

Teaming

We spend many hours in similar situation - NLB and teaming. After we dissolve teaming -problem solved.

http://msmvps.com/blogs/clusterhelp/archive/2006/06/05/network-load-balancing-nlb-and-network-interface-card-nic-teaming.aspx
"The quick summary of this post is, "Don't use NLB on teamed NICs."

Out of curiosity, what Teaming mode were you using? NFT Only is usually the most compatible with complex environments. I never use Automatic.
