Windows server 2008 Ent 32bit will not install on Proliant DL380p G8. Smartstart 7.8b Doesn't help.

Win server 2008 ent. 32bit will not install on DL380p G8. I tried using HP smartstart 7.8b but that is not valid either. HP says it supports 2008 32bit on this server. What do I do to install this OS please?

hi,

I already replied to your first post.

You can not use Smart Start to deploy Gen8 server. There is new option - Intelligent Provisioning. You can access it by pressing F10 during the boot process.

Intelligent Provisioning does not support installing Server 2008 32-bit version. Only 64-bit.

I am also trying to install Server 2008 32-bit version.
