I am trying to install Windows Server 2012 on an HP ENVY 700. When I start to do so, I receive a message -

" The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key"

In researching, it says that OEM machines that ship with pre-loaded windows contain a product manifest in a file or within the firmware that needs to be changed to allow the installation of the software.

I would like to know that name and location of this file so that I can change it from Windows 8 to Windows Server 2012.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.
