topic MicroServer Startup in Operating System - Microsoft

I have a customer that recently installed a new MicroServer in their business. We added an additional hard drive to load Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 on.

When we need to restart the server for any reason (software updates, etc.), the server will not "auto-start" Windows Server. You have to use the F11 key and manually select the boot volume. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how to correct that so it will just boot the WIndows volume?

Also, tried to re-format the original hard drive to conevt it to NTFS, but it will not allow that to happen. I tried going to My COmputer and right clicking on the volume and selecting format but it will not allow it. Any suggestion on that would also be appreciated...

you probably need to adjust the boot order.

what does it do exactly?

trying a network boot?

Correct. It tries to net boot. I thouht boot order was the issue, but I can not figure out how to modify it on that box... Do I do it in the F11 option or the F2 hardware setup option??
