Hello,

Greetings.

As per HPE standards, ML350 Gen9 server does not support a 32bit OS version. Hence, the issue mentioned is not a Hardware issue or Hardware compatibility issue.

We recommend to contact the application vendor for further support to get a 64bit version or an alternate proceedure.

Best Regards,

I Work for HPE

Maybe someone will have the definitive solution for you but I would say that this isn't really a hardware issue but rather an application and OS issue

Have you read

http://www.mustbegeek.com/install-sql-server-2012-windows-server-2012-r2/
http://www.lucasnotes.com/2012/11/installing-32-bit-sql-server-on-64-bit.html
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/016ab21b-5b4f-4a34-9090-ec645765cef0/32bit-processor-type-greyed-out?forum=sqlsetupandupgrade
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/sql/sql-server-2012/ms143506(v=sql.110)

Maybe you don't have the install bits for x86 (32 bit?)
