In which directory are you trying to save? Is a directory in which you can write? What is the error that Word gives you? Try to be more accurate, there can be a lot of causes for this issue.

Hi Osbaldo,

When you're saving the first time, you should click on File, Save As, and then you can browse to where you want to save your file, creating it's own file directory, if needed. You say nothing happens? You don't get an error, just nothing happens, right?

It seems that you may be trying to save it as the Default document, rather than 'renaming' the file, so that it's more intuitive so that you can find it later.

Let me know if this is the case.
Rachel
