Colleagues,

May be someone have expirience with HPE MIB installation to monitor hardware via SNMP.
Approach with HW moinitoring through iLO don't allowed by customer.

Based on your query , I would recommend you to install the below version of MIB on the 2012R2 server and follow the on screen instructions

Hello Paragv,

Thnak you for reply, but how i can install MIB update (prposed by you) without MIB intsalltion.

When i tryint to install prposed MIB iupdate installation program check that SIm installed, and ONLY after that trying to update MIB.

Since Generation 10 SIM agent not installed with SPP, so i can't perfrom MIB update.

Full SIM package installation (1,6 Gbytes) is not right way.

Not sure what your problem is. A MIB (Management Information Base) is only useful for the trap receiver to "translate" a message, not for a client.

thank yiouy for reply.

Before Gen10 we can monitor Server HW events through inside agent. In GEn10 server this technology were removed by HPE. How we can monitor Server's SW and HW events via SNMP (feature already installed and configured).

Right now only SW events availibe for monitoring by SNMP.

Monitoring is done via ILO,

OS related information will be sent by AMS to ILO.

Could yuo please share some infromnation how we can sent OS related events to iLO? (pls sent me link to manual or forum).
This solution is accepteble (we can monitor server only via 1 IP@).

iLO usage is preffreble for us.
