I have a question regarding the installation of the drivers and firmwares, for:

hp Ethernet 1Gb 4-Ports 331FLR.
hp Ethernet 1Gb 4-Ports 331i.

they are outdated and must be updated manually so my question is:

I would like to install the latest versions compatible for windows server 2012 R2, do i need to install all the previous versions of driver and firmware as well? or only the latests?

Hi,

You can update the latest firmware /driver.

However, please do check firmware/driver release notes to know which version driver/firmware is supported.

e.g.,

For the driver version 214.0.0.4 (17 Jul 2020) the supported firmware should be version 5.2.3.0 or later

Important:
HPE recommends the firmware provided in HPE Broadcom NX1 Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Windows Server x64 Editions, version 5.2.3.0 or later,
for use with this driver.
