Dear Sirs,

I have a Pavillion dv6, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz with 8 Gb Ram, with native Windows 7 that some years ago was automatically migrated in Windows 10.

A few days ago the biometric device, used to log in windows, stopped to work. The device management window reported the following: Validity sensor (WBF) (PID=0018). And the following message "The device reported a problem and it has been interrupted (Code 43)" .

What can I do now?

I thank you so much in advance.

GianniSilvestro
