SSA software version upgrade in Windows 2012 R2

Hello,

We're looking to upgrade SSA version (from 2.40.13.0 to 2.60.18.0 or higher) on Windows 2012 R2 server running on BL460c Gen9. Does upgrade from one version to next higher or latest version cause any impact to controller (Smart Array controller 244br) existing RAID or controller configuration? I wanted to make sure this upgrade would not wipe any existing RAID configuration and cause booting issue as the OS is running off this controller.

Hi Raghav,

SSA is a Management Software , updating SSA will not have any impact on the Raid Configuration.
