need to reinstall Windows Server 2019

I have a HPE GL 380 Gen10 that I need to reinstall windows Server 2019. I have not received my permanent ilo license and my 90-day temporary license has expired. The install goes great until the ilo times out. When I reconnect again the virtual iso connection has been lost and the install fails. I have tried every possible way that I know of to get this server reinstalled and I have not been successful. Any thoughts out there on what I can do?

Hi,

In this scenario, I can think of two options:
Buy a iLO License or go to the server physically and install OS via CD ROM or USB Stick.

I am working on the license. As for the USB stick, I have tried that many times. Whenit gets time to do the actual boot, it gives me an error message that it can't find it. I have tried putting it in both the front and the back usb ports. And I have tried both bootable and just an iso and neither of those work either.

Hi,

As mentioned in the earlier comment, yes iLO license needs to be installed if you are using the iLO mount option.

The only way is to get it installed manually using a USB stick.

Make sure the USB stick is made bootable using the bootable utility.

You may use Intelligent provisioning to install the OS , once the .iso is detected.
