If you mean how to find the iLO4 IP address for an HPE ProLiant DL380p Gen8, these are the some of the ways to locate it depending on what access you have:

1) Check the server label
- Many HPE servers have the iLO MAC address and/or default iLO IP/password printed on a sticker on the chassis or inside the bezel.
If you have that MAC you can match it to a DHCP lease.

2) During POST / System Utilities
- Reboot and watch POST. There’s often an iLO summary message showing the current IP.
- Press F9 (System Utilities) --> Intelligent Provisioning or the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU) --> iLO 4 network settings to view/change the IP.

3) From your network infrastructure
- Check your DHCP server leases for the iLO MAC (MAC vendor is HPE/Hewlett-Packard).
- Check the switch ARP/MAC table for the iLO MAC on the server’s switchport.

4) If you have no access to the host or network
- Use the iLO default: iLO is usually set to use DHCP by default. The default username/password is not universal — the Administrator password is often printed on the server tag.
If credentials are lost you can reset using the iLO security override (via iLO RBSU or the server’s System Maintenance switch). Consult HPE’s guide for “iLO security override” or the hardware maintenance manual for the DL380p Gen8.
