topic XP Messenger or NetMeeting? in Operating System - Microsoft

Having played with Windows Messenger on Win XP, I see an overlap of functionality with Messenger and Microsoft Netmeeting. Is Netmeeting being phased out? Are they only now investing in Messenger?

I'd like to hear anyone's thoughts. Many thanks,

Andy
