https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-microsoft/pws-amp-win98/m-p/2755873#M1887 The object of my desires is an "HP Pavilion" w/ 191mb of memory. <BR />It is running Windows 98. <BR />I get the following errors: <BR />---------- <BR />An unknown error occured while making MTS specific changes to the system registry. <BR />Error Code=0x80004005 <BR /> ------------ <BR />then: <BR />------------ <BR />Setup of "Transaction Server Core Components" failed. <BR />The specific code is 0x3f9c670 <BR />Setup will continue but the component may not function properly. <BR />------------ <BR />Well I can tell you that the component doe's not function at all. <BR />I have downloaded this PWS software from both the MS site and a CD with Exactly the same result. I have reformated the disk twice and loaded software way too many times with the same result. Help! <BR />Is it the System registry permissions? I don't know how to change them.
