Citrix Server licensing

Hi Friends,

I've Citrix metaframe 1.8 installed on Win2000 server. Now am replacing this existing server with a new one and have configured the new server exactly the same as old server.

As far as licensing is concerned, I've installed the same license in both the servers. But now, when I view the licensing information under Citrix Administration screen, I see the Total licenses installed as "N/A" on the new server whereas it's "32" in my existing server. Although the users can connect to both the servers but I am concerned about this. Any idea if I've missed anything?

Is the new server a MF1.8 or XP server? If it is an Xp server then you
need to install the upgrade license as well (both product and
connection). If it's 1.8 then you shuld not have a problem.

Friends, The issue resolved after installing the base license.
