What kind of operating system are you using? Have you tried removing the modem
driver, rebooting the system then reinstalling the modem driver again? Does
your ISP support 56k speeds?

How can I contact a technician who was able to configure my new Pavilion 6545
to run on the internet at 56K? Subsequent technicians have recovered my system
because of problems and now it only runs at 28.8. None of them seem to know
how to speed it up.
My case # is 1525590458; the technician was Steve and he was on the late night
shift on 1/11/00.

Hello,

To reach the same technical support person, or someone who can access the
documentation from the previous case, you will need to call back on the same
number you originally called to have the call opened. When you call in, give
them the case # you referenced and ask them to connect you to the engineer or
to the next available. Hopefully he documented what he did so if he's not
available another engineer can help you.

You will need to call the original number back though to get back to his group
so they can access that case.

Good luck,
Jamie Hughes

Please forward this message to the appropriate person.
I just purchased a HP DeskJet 880C * installed the installation disc & it
installed the printer onto my compaq presario 1510. The problem I am having is
EVERY time I print something, I get an "Incorrect installation" message. How
do I get this to go away? Otherwise I will have to return the printer!

Thank you,
Kathi Fuller
