    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Go to safe mode and do a shutdown. If it didn't shutdown then you have a hardware problem.       <title>HP 9870 Winxp startup failure</title>

      <description>Whenever I begin to operate the computer It takes about 8-10 minutes until Windows starts performing. I am currently running Windows XP and I am running on hp pavilion 9870. There are different situations that occur when i start my pc. It usually goes to the Windows loading screen and then suddenly restarts saying that sorry for the inconvenience and gives me a choice on to eiter run on safe mode..safe mode wit network run windows on the last known config or run it normally. I continue to try each of them but when i go back to the xp loading screen the pc restarts again saying the same thing. While switching from the error screen to windows xp takes at least 10 min. I recently formatted and recovered the system and it was working for a day but all the aplications were opening verry slowly and the windows startup also took rather long. So this is where I need your help. I jus need to noe why this is occuring and how I can fix it. Do you think is preferable to send it in for repairs? Is it a hardware problem or a software problem? Should I change my OS? Thnx In advance for your help.</description>

      <description>If it worked fine for a day and then started acting strange again, you may have a virus or your hard drive may be about to die.</description>
