topic Network Printing problems in Operating System - Microsoft

I have a network with over 40 HP printers all have been running just fine until
today. For some strange reason, I can no longer print to 6 printers. There is
no similiarity between the ones that cannot print. One is in one building and
one in another and one is a Laserjet 4MPlus and another is a Laserjet 4050TN
and they are all on different switches. I am positive that it lies in the
software because this morning I checked them and their ports had been deleted
(not manually) The only new thing is that on Sunday, I installed Jetadmin
software and updates some admin and support settings in that software and I
think that may have done something funny. Anyonw have a clue? Thanks.
Down all day,
Kim Schafer

We too have been experiencing problems with some of our HP printers over the
network. We use a combination of lasterjet 8100 and laserjet 4500 printers.
We have been experiencing problems such as workstations losing printer
settings, stalled print jobs and printer drivers creating gpf's. Have you been
experiencing any of these other problems?

Thanks Derek
