memory adding error

Hello,

i have a vl400 server . i would like to add a 256 MO for the memory sdram pc 133 .
It doesn't work, this memory is not recognise by the bios. Which kind of memory can i install on my server and what proprieties does it have ?
Please help !!!!!

what is vl400? This is not an official alpha product id. sdram PC133 is not a valid option for alpha products. There is a supported option list for alpha products in the manual of the machine.

Hi Richard,

As I understand it, the vl400 is an HP Vectra PC. Please correct me if I'm assuming incorrectly. Questions related to the vl400 PC hardware would best be answered by Tech Support through HP Care site.
