Ben,

Reduce the printing resolution from 600dpi to 300dpi. If the gridlines print fine at 300dpi, you need to add more printer RAM.

Win2k (and especially winxp) need more printer RAM than win9x.

Crucial.com is a good source of printer RAM.

Please let us know.

:-) Jay

also about RAM :
assure the amount of RAM configured in the pc/server matches the amount installed on printer.
Depending in which windows flavor you made the tests, check
a) if you need consider some "reserved memory" not reported to windows (it would be up 1.75 Mb in these models).
a practical value is reserve 1mb for 4Mb installed on a 4plus
b) Page Protect setting in windows could help too

if this just started happening. I would try updating the drivers for the 4plus. They have been known to corrupt for no reason

Ben:

On her post, if you click where it currently shows <UNASSIGNED>, it should reveal a list of possible assignments. Select the one you want to assign, then click somewhere in the white space to de-select the field (or you could inadvertently change the value with the wheel on the mouse). Then click the SUBMIT button near the bottom of the screen. Click the browser REFRESH button to see if it "took". Occasionally, it needs to be done more than once to work.

HTH

Roger</UNASSIGNED>
