When I install a compatible memory on LH 6000 server, but memory not made by HP, is the server prints any warning during the POST ?

Hi,

I assume that by "compatible memory", you mean it meets that basic specs like type and speed.
HP systems require very specific memory tied to the model number.
This page explains it quite well.

i have 2 LH6000 with Kingston memory (HP compatible). No warnings on POST.
Its not the same in Netserver LPr; i have POST warning because of kingston dimm's, but works fine.
